The master plan prepared by Urban Strategies® followed an extensive consultation process that engaged a broad range of communities and groups. A key move to enhance the campus’ image and pedestrian experience involves using distinctive gateways, attractive facades, and University-community partnerships to put new faces on the campus. The plan sets a framework for future development that respects context while allowing for growth, balances permanence with flexibility, and establishes an innovative approach to implementation.
