IBM and Minto retained Urban Strategies to prepare a master plan for a new community at the edge of the Rouge River Valley in Markham that would make the most of the natural setting. Our plan proposes a range of dwelling types in pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods organized around a central park linked to the valley. Our plan became the basis of a Secondary Plan for the Town, which Urban Strategies guided through the municipal approvals process.
