Ontario’s Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal has won the 2007 Daniel Burnham Award from the American Planning Association for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, which draws on several Urban Strategies studies. The Ministry is the first non-American recipient of this award. The award committee recognized the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe as an international model of planning for growth.
