Over 20 students from grade 7, 8, and 9 Niagara-on-the-Lake secondary schools participated in a hands-on charrette with Urban Strategies for World Town Planning Day. Students learned about the current development proposal for an actual site in the town, did a tour, and participated in a charrette to look at issues and opportunities. Together they came up with a set of principles and a preferred design for the site.
