On October 5, Mark Reid hosted a discussion on positioning mainstreet and neighbourhood change discussing processes and techniques applied in the Danforth Avenue Study and the Thornhill Yonge Street Study - two instances where typical NIMBY was successfully negotiated and overcome. Over 70 people attended. This event was part of the Canadian Urban Institute monthly Breakfast Roundtable Series.
