Urban Strategies® prepared an urban design vision, streetscape improvement plan and implementation strategy for the revitalization of the Yonge Street corridor in Thornhill. The vision establishes a mid-rise mixed use development character for the corridor and the recommended streetscape improvement program is to be implemented in conjunction with a new dedicated transitway, establishing a critical catalyst for long-term private sector reinvestment. Recommended interventions will strengthen the image and character of Yonge Street.
