In a combined vision plan, master plan and redevelopment plan, Urban Strategies identified key strategic moves to ensure future development builds on the city’s existing strengths, supports a diversified economic base and develops a legacy of parks and open spaces adjacent to the revitalized Woonasquatucket River. We conceptualized the future urban structure of this area in terms of land use, built form, open space and community amenities: a vibrant, mixed-use community adjacent to the downtown.
