Steeles Avenue Corridor Land Use Review

Urban Strategies developed a plan for the lands immediately north of York University, in anticipation of, and to promote, new rapid transit service to the area. We developed a grid street framework and tested different land use scenarios at transit-supportive densities. To illustrate the urban design vision and guidelines, we prepared a 3D computer model. The plan calls for a mix of street-related residential, commercial and employment uses that will complement the university and enhance the image of Steeles.
