Margaret Shipley

With a background in Landscape Architecture and experience as an Urban Designer, Margaret integrates sustainability and quality urban design principles that address the environmental and social needs of urban environments. She has worked on a wide range of urban-scale projects in Canada, the U.K and the U.S, including the masterplan of Springfield Hospital in London, the open space regeneration masterplan of downtown St.Louis’s Gateway Mall, as well as facilitating design charrettes and visioning exercises. Currently Margaret is working on the master plan for a transit-oriented growth centre in Toronto, a new downtown for the city of Vaughan, as well as the regeneration of Edmonton’s main avenue, Jasper Ave.
