Urban Strategies helped guide downtown Detroit’s physical regeneration after 30 years of decline. Working closely with stakeholders in workshop sessions allowed us to quickly discover the development opportunities in each district and how to capitalize on existing market synergies. The Strategy establishes a redevelopment framework and identifies key investment opportunities that together aim to revitalize the pedestrian environment, reconnect the downtown to the riverfront, and attract new developments now in demand.
