Urban Strategies developed a master plan for the historic Springfield University Hospital, one of the largest mental health institutions in England, on 80 acres. Based on a community-driven vision, the development framework introduces new uses and strong connections to the community. When redeveloped, the site will contain historic buildings, modernised health care facilities, extensive open spaces and commercial amenities, all framed by a new system of roads and pathways.
