Antonio (Tony) is a Registered Professional Planner with experience leading complex planning and development projects for various public and private sector clients. His experience includes municipal planning and development approvals, community master planning, and transit-oriented development.

Tony has played an integral role in developing a Master Plan for East Harbour, a 60-acre former industrial site located at the edge of Toronto’s Port Lands, leading the preparation of a comprehensive Master Plan document, and working collaboratively with City staff to advance the subdivision approvals and infrastructure coordination process. Tony’s master planning experience extends to the City of Ottawa, where he is helping to lead a comprehensive planning process to facilitate the creation of a complete and sustainable 445 hectare community known as Tewin.   

Tony has extensive development approvals experience across the Toronto Region. He has been involved in the revitalization of a large brownfield site located along Sterling Road in west Toronto, assisting with the Plan of Subdivision process, multiple Site Plan Approvals applications, and several Committee of Adjustment applications. His other development approvals work includes larger-scale development projects in Toronto, Mississauga and Burlington. Tony has also acted as an expert witness at the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).

Tony has also played an active role in a number of transit planning projects. He was the Planner and Project Manager for the City of Waterloo Station Area Planning Study, assisting in the development of a comprehensive planning framework to align new growth with the future light rail transit system. Tony was involved in the Davenport Community Rail Project and Environmental Assessment, and worked as a Planner and Project Manager for the Meadowvale GO Station Master Plan and Joint Development Study.
