Leah Cooke is an Urban Planner with a professional background in event and cultural management and an academic background in planning and social psychology. At Urban Strategies, Leah’s work includes policy analysis, development approvals, and project management. This includes writing planning rationale documents for development applications, policy research on a variety of topics including Municipal and Provincial land use policy updates, and the day to day management of complex planning approvals.
She is an avid city enthusiast, has led Jane’s Walks and a We Are Cities roundtable. She recently co-directed the info centre and artist store at the in/future art festival, held on the west island of Ontario Place in September, 2016. Finally, she assisted Ryerson Masters students with the launch of their High School Outreach program to help students gain knowledge about the field of urban planning.
