Michelle is an Urban Planner with diverse experience working across mixed use developments, rural communities, and environmental planning. Her professional and educational experiences have included municipal policy recommendations, creating and soliciting community feedback through various methodologies and age-friendly research. Michelle developed her interest in urban planning while working for an urban farm in downtown Kingston.
Michelle has coordinated with multidisciplinary teams in building an understanding of wildlife crossing infrastructure across Canada, the role of youth in the waterfront development, and while exploring green infrastructure solutions. She has undertaken policy and research analysis for open space planning in complex landscapes, cultural assets such as music venues and children’s play in the Toronto District School Board.
