Pino has expertise in a broad range of planning and design issues, including public engagement, urban and waterfront revitalization, suburban renewal, urban-rural interfaces, health-care campus planning, and local climate change solutions. He managed the Inspiration Lakeview Master Plan, a highly consultative revitalization plan for a former coal-fired energy plan on Mississauga's waterfront. He is currently involved in a number of high profile development approvals for private sector clients. He recently led various projects for Infrastructure Ontario as part of our Vendor of Record contract. He led the Comox Valley Regional Growth Strategy, and a municipal comprehensive review for the City of Vaughan, Ontario, a 3-year project leading to a new Official Plan. Pino has worked closely with Waterfront Toronto in managing and directing various waterfront initiatives, has assisted various health-care institutions plan for long-term growth, including Humber River Hospital, Ontario Shores, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
