Greetings of gratitude and appreciation
December 28, 2021
As 2021 comes to a close, we take a moment of reflection. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on exciting and progressive city-building projects across Canada and beyond. As a gesture of appreciation to our clients and project partners, we have made donations from each of our offices to support the communities where we live, work and play. As we emerge from the pandemic, contributing to social equity is more important than ever. We are happy to support these important organizations:
Water First, which addresses local water challenges in Indigenous communities through education, training and meaningful collaboration. https://waterfirst.ngo/
Na–Me–Res, which offers emergency shelter, cultural connection, and addiction and mental health support to Toronto-based Aboriginal men. https://www.nameres.org/
YWCA Hamilton, which provides emergency shelter, transitional and long-term affordable housing solutions to women and women-led families, and many skill development and settlement programs. https://www.ywcahamilton.org/
Hogan’s Alley Society, a community development agency that seeks to recognize the presence of Black history in Vancouver and to build the capacity of racialized and marginalized communities to participate in city building. https://www.hogansalleysociety.org/
Urban Native Youth BC (UNYA) strives to support Indigenous youth to make positive changes in their lives by offering a wide range of services, resources, and opportunities. https://unya.bc.ca/
Please note that our offices are closed for a holiday break starting at noon on December 24 until Monday January 3rd, 2022.
