Amir is an urban designer with degrees from the Bartlett School in London and Azad University in Iran. He is also a certified Project Manager. His project experience over the past ten years includes a variety of urban projects in a range of geographical locations, including developing a guideline for Qatar’s public realm, a master plan for Al-Janoub Stadium in Doha, a mixed development in Beykoz Istanbul, a residential development in Cambridge (UK), and several other proposals in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Amir believes that the primary challenge ahead of urban designers is to create sustainable, vibrant urban spaces which respond to the needs of city dwellers as well as cope with environmental factors. At Urban Strategies, Amir is an urban designer working on several projects including the University of Chicago Master Plan, 2280 Dundas St Master Plan, and 3575 Danforth Planning Application.
