Anson is an Urban Planner with a background in policy analysis and implementation, and stakeholder engagement. He recently completed a Master of Science in Planning at the University of Toronto, where he researched and compared the opinions of municipal staff, City Councillors, and road safety advocates on the visioning, formation, and implementation of the City of Toronto Vision Zero Road Safety Plan.

Prior to joining at Urban Strategies, Anson worked with municipal governments. Most recently, his work as an Assistant Planner in the City of Toronto’s Strategic Initiatives unit focused on supporting the development and implementation of secondary plans. Anson also interned with the City of Toronto’s Community Development Unit, where he assisted with public engagement, and with the Town of Banff, in support of active transportation and environmental sustainability initiatives. At Urban Strategies, Anson is contributing to various projects in Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe.
