Urban Planner

Brooke is an Urban Planner and Researcher with experience working on diverse issues in land use planning, policy analysis and inclusive urban design. Her previous work experience as a Community Planner at Halton Region exposed her to projects throughout the Region, with a focus on Minor Variance and Site Plan applications in Oakville and Burlington. Her experience at 8 80 Cities expanded her knowledge on research areas including aging in place, school streets initiatives and activating public space. She recently completed her graduate studies at the University of Toronto in the Master of Science in Planning program which built upon her background in quantitative and spatial research methods, acquired through a certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS at Toronto Metropolitan University.

At Urban Strategies, Brooke is supporting large scale development projects which contribute to providing various housing options, creating mixed-use environments, and producing vibrant communities. Brooke is passionate about all aspects of planning and urban development and approaches every project with enthusiasm.
