Candace is an Urban Planner with a diverse background in planning analysis, housing policy, spatial analytics, and resiliency planning. Her professional experiences have included preparing program reccomendations for Toronto’s Housing Now policy, developing a citizen’s guide to gentle density, analysing Toronto’s retail future potentials, and contributing to climate change adapation plans. Candace is interested in the role that land-use planning has in contributing to well-being, sustainability, and social equity within cities. Prior to joining Urban Strategies, Candace coordinated multi-disciplinary development projects throughout North America and the Asia Pacific region. At Ryerson University, she researched the impacts of housing policy on socio-economic segregation in the Toronto region.
