Urban Planner

Corey is an urban planner with a variety of professional experience including policy analysis, development review, stakeholder engagement, and affordable housing. With a background in municipal politics, he has also had the opportunity to help manage a range of public projects such as new parks, community centres, large-scale developments and policy initiatives.

Corey started at Urban Strategies in Dec. 2018. He began working on such projects as a Villiers Island Catalytic Use Study and a Highest and Best Use for the Toyota Head Office lands in Scarborough. He has since taken on other projects including an Integrated Master Plan for the University Health Network and a Concept Plan for Upper Kerr Village in Oakville.

Corey has a keen interest in housing issues and the relationship between the socio-economic and spatial characteristics of cities. He has occasionally written about urban affairs for a few publications.
