Harleena is an Urban Planner with a diverse background in policy analysis, community development, housing, and research. She recently completed her studies at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Urban and Regional Planning program. While in school Harleena was focused on community development, sustainability, and creating diverse and inclusive cities. With a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, Harleena was also a member of the Anti-Systemic Racism Working Group at the School of Urban and Regional Planning.
Harleena’s work across the public, private and non-profit sectors have contributed to her being a well rounded planner with diverse experiences. Harleena brings a unique perspective to the firm drawing upon her time at the City of Toronto’s Housing Secretariat, The Tower Renewal Project, The Toronto Ward Museum, and her work in research, marketing and publishing.
Harleena’s work at Urban Strategies includes large scale multi-phase redevelopment projects that seek to enhance the public realm and provide more housing options in the Greater Toronto Area.
