Urban Planner

Keisha is an Urban Planner and researcher with a background in policy and infrastructure development as these practices intersect with issues of housing affordability, economic development, land use planning, transit-oriented development and smart cities. With public, private and non-profit experience, her professional work has challenged her to understand and reimagine planning outcomes in neighbourhoods across the Greater Toronto Area, including St. James Town, Moss Park, Regent Park, Little Jamaica and Quayside. At Urban Strategies, Keisha is contributing to the visioning exercise being undertaken by the City of Markham for the MiX Innovation District. She is also a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute Anti-Black Racism in Planning Task Force.
