Kevin is a skilled Urban Planner engaged on projects with a wide range of approval contexts, from urban infill, brownfield regeneration, waterfront development, campus master-planning, parks planning, and transit-oriented development. He is responsible for guiding complex development projects through the approval process, including Official Plan and zoning by-law amendments, plans of subdivision, site plan approvals, public consultation strategies, and when required, preparation for Ontario Municipal Board/LPAT appeal board hearings. Kevin has played a key role on several transformational projects throughout the City of Toronto, including the planning approvals related to Rail Deck Park, and the coordination of a comprehensive Secondary Plan for the University of Toronto Scarborough campus. Currently, Kevin is the project manager for a number of major development projects, including a significant brownfield master plan development within Toronto’s Golden Mile, and a complex multi-phase mixed-use development within the City’s Waterfront. With a multidisciplinary professional background in facility operations, local economic development and social entrepreneurship, Kevin is a capable project manager, with development interests in walkability, transit and land-use integration, social sustainability and low-carbon development.
