St. Louis Riverfront North

2015 - Present

St. Louis, Missouri

Urban Strategies where invited to team with Forum Studio to plan the future of the historic St. Louis Riverfront north of the Arch grounds. Steps away from the downtown but long segregated and underutilized, the area has great potential to reconnect the city and the Mississippi River and tap into the legacy of living and working along the Mississippi. A new series of park and networks will make the waterfront accessible and reinvigorate the industrial heritage, both built and landscape, and accelerate both adaptive reuse and new infill to create an innovative new neighbourhood that supports the existing community at Laclede’s Landing, Casino and Hotel zone, unifies the disparate industrial fabric as the seeds for a new mixed use district.
