Helping create safe and affordable urban homes for families in need

Recently Cyndi and team did some pro-bono work for Habitat for Humanity, supporting  their planning rational for a development application at St. Clair and Birchmount in Scarborough. Habitat managed their own approvals, but our professional opinion helped them successfully appeal to the Board. The site, previously unoccupied, will now house 8 or 9 large family homes and 41 children!

Even better, our staff have been given a chance to roll up our sleeves and help build these homes! How often do Planners and Urban Designers have this opportunity?
