Brendan is an Urban Designer with a background in both urban design and architecture, having completed a Master of Architecture at the University of British Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Architecture with a Major in Urbanism at Carleton University. Brendan’s interests are rooted in the exploration of urban systems, processes and ideas, the ways in which they overlay and intersect to produce networks and moments of meaning within the built environment. His professional experience includes the production and communication of urban design reports on projects across the Greater Golden Horseshoe, working at a broad range of typology and scale throughout the region. At Urban Strategies Brendan is working on large scale master plan projects such as Brightwater and the Yonge Corridor Secondary Plan as well as mall redevelopment projects such as Jane Finch Mall and SmartCentres Woodside.
