
Katelyn Bianchi
Katelyn is an Urban Planner and local lead of Urban Strategies’ Buffalo, NY studio. She brings 20+ years of experience in urban planning, public policy and project management to the team. Katelyn holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from University of Waterloo. She has a strong background in waterfront projects, including working bi-nationally with Canada and the United States to collaborate on programs for shared water resources and working with Niagara Region on developing a Waterfront Enhancement Strategy, for which Urban Strategies was the consultant. Additionally, she has managed numerous planning and waterfront incentive programs related to downtown revitalization, façade improvement, water quality protection and economic development. Katelyn’s current focus is on projects in New York State related to Smart Growth and Comprehensive Plans, Downtown Revitalization Incentives, Brownfield Opportunity Area Studies and Waterfront Revitalization Plans.
