Matt Perotto is a Principal Urban Designer and Landscape Architect at Urban Strategies Inc. whose work focuses on the integration of urban design, landscape architecture, and environmental systems across complex public realm and city-building projects. His experience spans large-scale urban and open space master plans, waterfronts, parks, plazas, and campus landscapes across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Prior to joining Urban Strategies, Matt was a Senior Associate at Janet Rosenberg & Studio, where he led the firm’s Studio Research Lab and contributed to the development of its Sustainability Action Plan and computational design initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade at Hargreaves Jones contributing to major public realm projects and international design competitions.

Alongside practice, Matt is a Sessional Lecturer II at the University of Toronto Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, where he teaches visual communication, computation, and integrated urbanism within the Master of Landscape Architecture program.
