Josh Kohler

Urban Planner

Josh has been managing the municipal planning approvals for a number of Urban Strategies complex and large scale city-building projects in Toronto, including his current work on the Mirvish Village redevelopment at Bathurst and Bloor, and visioning work for the former Christie Cookie site at Park Lawn and Lake Shore. Josh also regularly leads diverse public sector initiatives including a Public Art and Commemoration Strategy for Queen’s Park, a Public Realm Master Plan for Downtown Buffalo, and his current work developing station area plans for two ION LRT stops in the City of Kitchener. Born and raised in New England, Josh will continue to support the firm’s growing work in the northeast US, as well as continuing his involvement with high profile redevelopment projects in Toronto.
