 Sarah is an Urban Designer with an interdisciplinary background that informs her design and planning approach to diverse projects across different contexts and scales. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. Prior to pursuing a career in design, Sarah worked in research and project management at Toronto-based NGOs, developing her interest and skills in community engagement. 

At Urban Strategies, Sarah brings urban design expertise to large-scale master plans, campus plans, and detailed site-based studies. Sarah’s master planning experience includes projects in Brighton, Georgetown, Oakville, Edmonton, and Mississauga. Most recently, Sarah has contributed to the Destination Wasaga Master Plan, a vision for growing Wasaga Beach’s waterfront and downtown as vibrant, four-season destinations. Sarah’s campus planning experience includes the Canadian Nuclear Labs’ Waste Management Campus Plan, which guides the development of innovative new facilities at the country’s premier nuclear science and technology organization, and the Master Campus Development Plan for Algonquin College, a 10-year strategy for new buildings and public realm investments that support academic and student life. Sarah has also contributed to planning approvals for high-profile developments including Union Park at 315-325 Front St. West in Toronto.
