Richmond Hill Centre Visualization

Richmond Hill, Ontario 2023 - 2026

Bird-eye view from the south, of Richmond Hill Centre Visualization

Urban Strategies has supported the City of Richmond Hill with the planning and design of Richmond Hill Centre since 2008. Building on this work, we have been retained to prepare a series of photorealistic visualizations to communicate the long-term vision for the Centre.

Developed in close collaboration with City staff, the visualizations depict key streets, public spaces, and development blocks, translating the Secondary Plan’s policy directions—land use, density, height, public realm structure, and mobility—into clear, place-based images. Each view is calibrated to the approved planning framework we helped establish, ensuring consistency between policy and visualization.

These post-plan visualizations are helping the City communicate its aspirations, build community buy-in, and attract investment in this important emerging place within the city.
