Prince Edward County, Ontario 2021 - Present

The planned revitalization of the Loch-Sloy Business Park and Picton Airport lands is a major development opportunity in Prince Edward County, Ontario. The 300 hectare (750 acre) site contains a former RAF base of approximately 70 acres which retains a substantial legacy of its historic past and has the potential to become a new and unique complete community. Urban Strategies facilitated an international design competition to select a lead master plan architect in 2022 and is now working with the consultant team and ownership group in the development of a long-term plan that catalyzes creative industry adaptive reuse in the existing heritage structures as a launch point for the residential expansion of Picton across the site over the next 30 years.
